One word - he is brillant
I have been hard of hearing and wearing hearing aids since a child. Dr Bauman has repeatedly changed my life for the better over the years - allowing me to continue to function well in our ever changing hearing world. You will not find someone more brillant - he finds away to make hearing aids work for you. He developed hearing aids so he understands the electronics and no one can explain your hearing loss to you better than he. He is kind, gentle, empathetic and never gives up on the best solution for you.

My elderly mother has been seeing Dr. Bauman for a few years now. He told her recently that she needed a new set of hearing aids that cost approximately $10K and asked her to sign up on the spot. She has dementia and he knows better. I discovered that he has been asking her to come in every 4-6 weeks to clean out her “excessive wax buildup”. All this smelled bad. I had her go to a different specialist who confirmed that she did NOT have a wax issue (2 visits to be sure) and the her 2 year old hearing aids that Bauman sold her for $6k worked fine. They just needed to be reprogrammed for her degraded level of hearing. Bottom line - this guy seems to have taken advantage of an elderly widow for his own economic gain. Not a fan obviously….
