Plant based consult made ALL the difference!
I wanted to provide some follow up and MANY thanks for Dr. Mendez and Natalie Castro, RD who worked with my son when he was diagnosed with Crohn’s. My son had a routine GI visit this morning. They were so pleased with his progress- he’s off all meds and doing great! The change in attitude of the team towards us (they come in with doctor, nurse and dietician) was absolutely incredible. They even had their dietician begin following the FB group! They acknowledged his plant based diet has made a huge difference in his remission, despite their skepticism and concern when we started. We are so thankful, and hope my son’s example of faithful application of the plant based lifestyle will be life changing for another kid!
