Dr. Natalia Lugina Mauranne, PSY.D

I had seen many therapists in my 20s. I have never found one like Natalia. I started seeing her about 2 months into sobriety. She performed an incredibly thorough neuropsych exam, and then we immediately began working on trauma, and embarking on an introspective journey I had never been able to embrace. Natalia helped me find the courage to work through the past. Here I am 2 and a half years sober, with a self confidence and peace I never thought I would have. Natalia Lugina-Mauranne is an excellent, highly skilled, thorough, and compassionate neuropsychologist. I needed a neuropsychological assessment completed for my son. She managed to fit us in in her busy schedule. Her office is very calm and cozy. She offers a wealth of knowledge and a wholesome approach to issues, including lifestyle, nutrition, exercise, sleep. Her neuropsychological testing is very thorough. Natalia spent almost two hours providing us with very detailed explanations of her findings during our review session. The testing itself took two days. She explained every test, and their meaning. We very highly recommend her.

Dr. Mauranne was extremely generous with her time and help when she performed my neuropsychological evaluation. The evaluation took a total of about 8 hours over two days. She was very kind and professional throughout. She also had a 90-minute initial consultation meeting in person with us and a 90-minute follow-up telehealth meeting to discuss the results.

Did not listen to reasons I made the appointment. Continued to speak over me and assume things about my background because she had not digested the lengthy pre-paperwork I had done prior to the appointment. I decided not to move forward to the neuropschological exam because I never wanted to see her again.

From our initial conversation to all of the testing as an adult, so I could find out what I was dealing with, receive a most excellent and detailed report, and have a follow-up session to review the report and make minor changes to the details. Dr. Lugina Mauranne was professional, cared for me, and ensured I had no questions and knew how to get the best results from the long testing day. I was very impressed with Natalia. She tested two of my children and it was very thorough and she spent a lot of time digging into different things. She is very knowledgable and passionate about what she does. You can tell she truly cares about each individual. It was great figuring out exactly the strengths and weaknesses with my kids. One is on an IEP and it was great to get a more thorough diagnosis rather than what the school had done. I would definitely recommend!

I was impressed by Dr. Natalia Lugina Mauranne's knowledge and education, and hard work. She was very thorough in the neuropsychological testing she provided to both my daughter and I, and right on point in her diagnoses. Not only she displayed professionalism at all times, but it was also evident that she very much cares about people. Dr. Natalia patiently listened to all our concerns, and gave very helpful guidance based on the testing results, advice that we are trying to implement the best we can and it has already started making a difference in our wellbeing. Her fees are also reasonable and, at list at the time we did the testing, she was in-network with our medical insurance, which was a blessing!

Dr. Mauranne was wonderful when working with my son. She was so kind and patient even when he grew anxious and started to shut down. She is great with kids and identifying strengths and weaknesses. I could not be happier with my experience with Natalia. She made everything so easy - from making the appointment, providing thorough and effective neuropsych evaluation services, providing the written neuropsych reports quickly, and even working with my insurance (Cigna) - essentially everything was seamless. I would say that Natalia's incredibly detailed evaluation was the primary reason why my 12th grader was able to receive IEP services (which will follow her to college) and educational accommodations from the College Board for her AP exams within a short time period (within weeks). I highly recommend Natalia!

Out of curiosity, I wanted to be assessed for ADHD as an adult. I didn't want to be simply labeled with ADHD but rather be given an in-depth analysis. To my surprise, Dr. Lugina Mauranne's assessment went beyond my expectation. Through this process I was able to learn detailed aspects about myself, especially in regards to my strengths and weaknesses. Dr. Lugina Mauranne not only explained everything thoroughly but also gave me practical advice on how to improve areas where I may be struggling. Overall, I had a really enjoyable time, and I genuinely felt her care and concern throughout the process.
