Mordechai Sacks, PA-C

I have been going to this practice for a long time and I am always pleased with how I am treated and taken care of. Mordechai Sacks is excellent. He listens to my concerns and is thoughtful in his responses. I am pleased to know I have Mordechai in my corner.

I really enjoy seeing Dr. Sacks. He is down to earth, inquisitive, explanatory, friendly and thorough. During my visits I feel supported and heard. I appreciate his contribution to the profession and as my doctor.

Mordechai has correctly diagnosed a couple of health issues I have had in the past. Professional and obviously very smart.

One of the best primary health care professionals around. Interesting that he gets only five star or one star reviews. Every one star is the same: they complain that they felt duped because he's a PA/PhD and not an MD even though he never hides that. My experience is that he asks questions to make sure he thoroughly understands the issue then explains treatment options and the reasons behind them. He's caught things for me that prior MD's missed because they simply rushed to prescribe meds without asking any questions. If you can't get past the MD thing, move on; if you want highly competent attentive primary care, he's your guy.

Very arrogant, unprofessional, and non competent. He introduce himself as a doctor but he is a PA with PhD, which is misleading since he didnt graduate from medical school. He is just a wanna-be doctor, who earns nothing but distrust. Stay away

Been vising Dr. Sacks for about four years now. He is very down to earth and extremely knowledgeable! Always a positive experience. He spent a full 30 minutes with me today to answer all of my questions. Sacks always takes the time to listen to any and all of my concerns and he can break down anything with a layman's approach to easily understand for those of us without medical degrees (like myself). These negative reviews seem a bit off but as far as my experiences have been with my many visits over the past few years, he is my favorite doctor/PA etc I've been to since Dr. Bond retired (Eastchester). Keep up the amazing work Mordechai!!!

Dr. Mordechai Sacks is one of the Best Doctors I've ever had. I recently had my check up and they were very professional and handled every aspect of my health. Very helpful indeed, what an excellent doctor and team, would highly recommend them.

Something seemed off about how he was addressing my questions. He did not come off as very competent. I later found out that he wasn't a doctor (which he said he was "Dr. Sacks"). That was intentionally misleading. I feel violated, and now need to go seek out a real doctor. Infuriating, and a huge waste of time.

My experience was not bad, but I was confused because Mordechai Sachs calls himself a doctor, but he is a physician assistant. Aren't physician assistants different from medical doctors. I mean, his lab coat reads "Dr. Sachs", but when I asked him if he was a doctor, he said he is a physician assistant with a doctorate degree in medical sciences. I feel that it is very misleading for patients to think that he is a medical doctor when he is not. A doctorate degree in social studies does not give a physician assistant the right to be called a doctor in a medical setting.

He has become my go-to for every issue. Always very attentive and empathetic. Does more for me than specialists—specialists are constantly trying to get me to come back every few weeks and cough out the premiums and copays. Mordechai is interested in finding a solution. Will make a phone call to talk about your issues while other doctors try to get you in for unnecessary appointments. Always spends a good amount of time with you, doesn’t rush out. Helps with prescription and insurance issues. Best diagnostician I’ve had to date.

No doc has ever spent that much time with me.
