Monique McGaffeny, ARNP

By far the worst healthcare experience I have ever had, immediately dismissed my concern and made wild claims about my condition. Asked to see visible evidence then immediately dismissed it and contradicted her own previous claims. Seemed to have a bizarre agenda to convince me of health issues that didn’t match my symptoms. I’m baffled that she has a license, I’ve never experienced anyone so rude and incompetent. There is absolutely no excuse for healthcare of this quality level to be allowed.

I visited the zoomcare clinic with low blood pressure and saw this nurse practioner. She was highly unprofessional- talking to receptionists and taking personal calls. She did not explain what she was thinking and simply asked for lot of blood work and referred me to endocrinologists.

I started crying when I found out she was leaving family practice for urgent care. Monique if you see this, I miss you soooo much !! Monique is extremely competent/ knowledgeable, empathetic and a very wise provider. Best bedside manners I have ever had in my life.. and I’ve had some great care! She doesn’t push medicine unless absolutely necessary. Love her and miss her!!! Best provider ever.

TERRIBLE experience all around. Monique McGaffeny, Nurse Practitioner, was the worst healthcare provider I've ever experienced in my life. Within 60 seconds, she made me cry with her terrible "bedside manner". I went in for an ear infection and to get ear wax build-up removed, and she told me she might rupture my eardrum if she tried to help me. She repeated at least 6-10 times that this was MY fault that my ear hurt, and that I had NO ONE else to blame for the pain I was in. When I winced out of pain when she shot medicine into ear with a bottle that looked like it was for cleaning supplies, she removed her rubber gloves in a hurried FIT and slammed them onto the counter. She again told me that the pain was no one else's fault but mine, and that she refused to help me anymore. I asked her again to help me with the pain and build-up up in my ear, and after an exasperating few minutes, she told me to go home and stop crying. She had no sympathy, no empathy, and no compassion.

Monique was my doctor for 5+ years. I am shook by her reviews. This woman had 2,000+ patients when she was in Family Medicine. Now I know people cannot be that naive to be worried about "time well spent" at a family medicine multicare. I am soooooo sad she is gone but this woman is loyal, faithful, strong, courageous, caring + BEYOND all that.. such a good MOTHER and WIFE. Always supported me, through and through. Monique, I know you are kicking booty at Urgent Care, girl. I am so happy you did this for your family, ooooh Lord I found this website through my school and here I am. Lmao off to my midterm! Pray for me!!!

She was my provider for the last few years. I am sad to see her go.

I have always gotten scheduled quickly. She has always been positive and attentive to my problems and given the appropriate referral or prescription . She seems compassionate about her work . And communicates well on my-chart.

I can not say enough about how much I appreciate Monique and her staff!!!! They have never let me down , always honest and amazing in all they do. I would recommend Monique to anyone!!!

Takes the time to listen to me and treats me fairly. I trust my primary care needs in her and feel she keeps a level head with different problems I have. She's always kind and happy, plus I appreciate her team and how they work together.

She listens and is great at explaining things in layman's terms. Great rapport with friendly staff.

There is a followup issue. She tells you to go get some test done, then there is no followup--no explanation of the results, but she tells you she wants you to schedule an apt out a month. So it's you and google trying to figure out what the medical jargon means unless you contact the office to followup on your own or remind her in a month that you had that test. Also she had a trainee do most of my last apt, she showed up at the end to talk for a few minutes but that was it.

Monique has ignored the needs of her patient leaving her in the care of emergency room staff for 10 visits in 14 days. ER staff tells patient to follow up with McGaffney but she has iqnores the patient calls. Psuedo tumor cerebri acts like a brain tumor and shouldn't be ignored, but McGaffney is treating it like a common cold. McGaffney prescribed the medicine that caused the problem, but didn't warn the patient to watch for it. patient is looking for a real doctor who has more knowledge.
