Misty Cox, NP

Awful Provider, she doesn’t want to do anything within the scope of a pcp and would rather pawn you off to a specialist when it’s not even necessary. Even have had specialist voice that I should have been able to get the care I needed from my pcp rather than being referred and having to wait even longer to get a new patient appointment. She is the kind that if you went in with a UTI instead of giving you antibiotics she would rather make you wait and suffer by referring you to a urologist wasting precious time and causing things to advance into something much worst. I highly advise anyone to stay far away from her, so unprofessional and uncaring. Doesn’t want to actually have to do her job.

After going to mutiple doctors and not beign heard and my symptoms dismissed. Did some research and found Misty Cox. Amazing Healthcare professional that actually listens, is caring and very knowledgeable. She digged deeper ordered lab tests that no other docs would order and I'm finally getting some answers. Now I can finally take control of my health and get treatment. Thank you Misty Cox for listening. Will forever be thankful.

Absolutely love Misty, she cares and it show in all she does. I tried to check out another doc closer to me, but Misty makes me feel like I am a person and not just a chart that needs to be cleared. I would give her more stars if I could. She is the Gold Star bench mark in my boo.

Misty is far and away my favorite doc/nurse practitioner / whatever I’ve ever had. Always makes me feel important and seems genuinely concerned about my health and happiness . Truly a woman who has found her calling , makes going to the doctor about as pleasant as it can be!!

I will not recommend her she wanted to do an exam on me without even requesting my medical records from my previous "real" doctor not a nurse practitioner...and I was billed $977.87 for the visit!!!!!! I called billing department and they stated that they could not do anything and not to worry because my insurance was going to cover 90% of it....but just professional services $450.00 outrages...She is not professional!!!

I really like going to Misty. She is a very good listener and is proactive at doing what is best for you as her patient. I have never had a Dr. in the past so attentive and willing to listen to my side before making a medical decision.

This lady cause me so much depression! She told me I had stage 2 liver disease and felt like my life was coming to a end.. good thing for seconds opinions not only do I NOT have liver disease but I found out I was misdiagnosed without proper procedures done!! Stay far away from her..

Extremely thorough. She takes the time and listens to all of your concerns. She takes your medical history and current prescribed drugs and drug allergies into consideration. I got an appt with her ASAP. All of the staff was wonderful. Her follow up is prompt.
