During a session, Miranda started massaging around my diaphragm area. I heard a loud popping sound and had a sharp pain in my ribs. The following day, it was excruciating to even breathe or move. I called Miranda to explain what I was experiencing after the massage. She told me to contact my doctor. I went to my doctor's office and was told the massage therapist had slipped my rib out. There is no treatment for the pain, which lasts for 3-4 weeks and feels just like a broken rib. My doctor told me to never get a massage from this therapist again. I called Miranda to tell her about my slipped rib and the amount of pain I was in. She never refunded me for the session, and never apologized or took any responsibility. I found that most appalling. I went to a massage therapist because I wanted to get some relief from chronic back pain. I recommend NOT getting a massage from her as she uses techniques that caused harm.
