Michelle Lacombe, RN

While I haven’t personally dealt with her, my daughter was referred to her by health affiliates Maine. My daughter was provided her phone number to set up an appt for medical management and she was treated terribly by this person. She answered her call only to tell her that “the only reason she answered was because she thought she was a telemarketer because she keeps seeing the number pop up” She was condescending and rude and said “I can’t help you” After reading the other reviews I don’t know how someone like this has a license to treat patients.

The worst person I've ever had to deal with in my life and I've had to deal with doctors since I was roughly 7 years old (25+ years). She's completely incompetent, will not listen to a word you're saying. Her decision cost me months away from work and much more, she did not care in the least bit. Reads down the list of questions she has and then sends you on your way. The only time she actually listened was when I told her she's not the right doctor for me and she tried to convince me to stay. I've had a good experience with other Doctors there but she's hands down the worst EVER. Someone is going to end up in the hospital or worse if they keep letting her see patients. Hopefully people read this before seeing her and this is my way to maybe help someone before she drags another innocent person down with her. If I could give negative stars on this she would get it.

I've never written a review like this. Even if I have a bad experience, I'm likely to consider the possibility that it was a misunderstanding or a miscommunication. Michelle is rude, incompetent, and judgemental. Her opinions are reckless, and lack factual merit. When it comes to light that she has misjudged a situation or made a mistake, she lashes out and has difficulty controlling her emotions. She's very unprofessional. These are terrible qualities in a mental health care provider. Seeing her aggravated my condition. I experienced heightened anxiety and depression at the thought of having to interact with her. It was very unfortunate, as the 2 providers that I had before her at the same facility were terrific, and I had been making wonderful progress. I believe it's likely that more people have had similar bad experiences with Michelle, and I hope they come forward.
