Dr. Michelle Gilliland, DNP

I have been seeing Dr. Gilliland for trigger points and nerve blocks for about 8 weeks now. I highly recommend her. The shots are no fun but she is extremely professional and has a great bedside manner.

I have suffered from migraines for 20 years, and I am now better than I have ever been. Michelle is attentive, caring, and so professional. She listens, offers suggestions, is willing to try new approaches, and goes above and beyond for me time and time again. I have not had a single migraine in a long time which is very unusual for me. It is life changing to finally feel like myself. I feel like I am finally participating in my life without fear and anxiety of a potential migraine. I will forever be grateful to Michelle for what she has done for me.

Dr Gilliland is very attentive and knowledgeable. She always go above and beyond when I’m in pain and makes me feel as if I am the only patient she has. She has been my neurologist for almost 2 years now and I feel blessed to be under her care. I would highly recommend.

Michelle does not care about her patient's well-being. Worst of all, she is ineffective. She shouldn't practice medicine.

I was diagnosed with migraines, including hemiplegic migraines, about two years ago. The medication that Michelle has prescribed has not been effective so she just gives me more of the same kind. I have recently had additional symptoms and a three week long headache with sporadic muscle weakness to the point of not being able to walk. I have also had pressure in my head and am unable to think or speak properly. I have gone to the emergency room twice for my symptoms and was told to follow up with Ms. Gilliland. At my appointment, I tried to tell her about the new symptoms and she snapped at me for not giving simple yes or no answers and bringing up my new symptoms. She said we had 10 minutes so I better listen and answer her questions with a yes or no. I told her my main concern was the loss of muscle function that happened with the head pain and that was the reason I made the appointment. She told me that it didn't make any sense to bring that up because if she was asking about my headache it wouldn't be helpful to go on about diarrhea!?!?!?! The appointment ended with no help being offered, other than being told that I should see a neurologist at the hospital because they couldn't do anything. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I will not be returning.
