Dr. Michelle Gesing, PSY.D

I worked with Michelle for two years. She helped me get through a rough transitional time. She’s very honest and relatable. She draws from different therapy methods and understands that each person is an individual. I never felt like she was condescending or that she was trying to “do therapy to me.” She is professional, but never distant. I’ve seen many therapists and recommend Michelle 100% My husband commented that I seemed to be doing a lot better after I started seeing her. I agree!

I've had a wonderful experience with Dr. Gesing. She's perceptive and great at listening without judgement. She offers very helpful tools to assist me in understanding behavioral patterns. She's not only made a positive impact in my life, she's also genuine and a pleasure to be around.

My daughter, husband and I saw Michelle a couple years back for family therapy. My daughter explained some of the issues she was having in our household and Michelle's response was "well you could move out. There are homeless shelters" We saw a family therapist from insight behavioral health who actually helped us problem solve so everyone was happy. I am shocked that a therapist said a 19 year old who was trying to better her relationship with her parents and go to school should be homeless
