My family member showed up to a session and said that he found out his wife has BPD and she literally just told him there is no cure so he should get divorced, and he did. I am personally happily married to someone with BPD so that's a little confusing. Seems like this lady is trigger happy.

Michelle, was extremely quick to recommend to my ex-wife that we get divorced after both my ex and I had been meeting with her. I would understand the recommendation if there were any sort of abuse or neglect involved. Her recommendation completely disrupted our family and our kids have really felt the brunt of her decision. I feel it would have been more professional to at least recommend more counseling before such a huge decision.
