Dr. Michael Steinberg, PHD

Dr.Steinberg has helped me through a life crisis. Without him, I’m not sure where I’d be today. Dr. Steinberg is intelligent, personable and compassionate.He is both warm and empathetic, which makes it very easy to open up. He is a good listener, but more importantly, he shares his perspective and gives important feedback that sheds light on a pathway forward. I am so thankful for his insight and practical approach.

I have been visiting with Dr. Steinberg for four years now. I find him to be extremely helpful and comforting. He manifests compassion and intelligence without any airs of superiority or condescension. He’s just very qualified at what he does and he does it expertly.

He applies this to the situation at hand without bias or reservation. It is for this I believe that one can discuss any topic affecting one's mental state without fear of judgement or resentment.He is a beacon of light for me that helps me navigate the inevitable challenges of life.I recommend him without hesitation or reservation.

I have seen Dr. Steinberg off and on throughout my 20-year marriage and throughout raising two girls as needed. These “maintenance sessions” or “maintenance periods,” as I have come to call them, have always been incredibly beneficial for me and my family. Dr. Steinberg has helped me to identify and successfully resolve issues which were holding me back from finding joy and enjoying my life. I would never have been able to achieve this alone. His many years of counseling experience, in-depth knowledge, understanding, and compassion are difficult to match. I have been working with Dr. Steinberg for over 7 years now. When I first started seeing him, I had debilitating anxiety and was beginning to slip into a depression. Michael is relatable, funny, down to earth, and tells things how you need to hear it.
