I met "Steady Mike" through court ordered Rushford Center outpatient treatment. I instantly related to him as did the entire group and continued to see him privately after becoming sober. He is wise beyond his years and offers real advice and solutions. I trust that he has my best interests in mind and still check in with him after moving to FL. What Mike thinks of me matters and I could be his greatest success as I was a hopeless drunk. He drove me to rehab once and is one of the greatest reasons that I am sober today. I have never met a counselor/clinician like him, and I have known dozens. Even just talking to him is reassuring and comforting but when you are screwing up, he holds nothing back. I aspire to be like Mike.

Mike is incredible. He actually helps. I have seen every therapist ,psychiatrist the world had to offer. Then I met mike. That's when I got better.

When I found out that I was required to see a drug counselor as part of my therapy, I was absolutely dreading it!!! However, after my first visit with Mike, I felt like I had a true friend! For the first time in my life I had a friend that didn't judge me, look down at me or make me feel guilty and ashamed! I always feel comfortable enough to tell Mike anything and everything that I have done in the past and anything I that I am doing wrong now, and I know that it always stays in that room!
