Exam always thorough.

I have been going to Dr. Rascati for many years(20 +) It’s always been hard to get an appointment with his office, I assume because he is well liked and a good doctor, but this year I have been trying to get an appt to see him since March Every time I call, he’s booked up and the receptionist tells me she hasn’t opened next months appointment book yet! WHO DOES THAT????!Dr. Rascati started telling me I needed cataract surgery a couple years ago, then last year, he told me my eyes were ready for surgery. So…. I need a new prescription for my glasses, but obviously it will change after surgery, SOOOOEVERYTHING IS ON HOLD!! I guess I am going to have to find a new doctor. I called again today (9/28/23) and got told the exact same thing!! November’s book hasn’t been opened yet!How can you schedule for only one month at the time? I don’t know ANY other doctor’s office that does that!! All that said, Dr Rascati is a great doctor, IF you can ever get an appointment!

I poked myself in the eye with a sharp tip of a plant. Dr Rascati took me immediately and gave me excellent care. I was very concerned about losing my sight and the cost of eyecare. He calmed my fears and gave me the best of care. After 4 visits, I was surprised. The total charge was less than I would expect to pay for ONE VISIT, not four! These visits were during the height of the covid epidemic, but they kept the office open using meticulous hygenic precautions. High praise for his receptionist who is most coureteous and efficient. No need to travel to Gainesville for eyecare. Dr Rascati is TOPS. 5 STARS
