This was one of the worst experiences of my life. Both Janet Rivera and Michael O’Toole should not be in this field. I was in significant distress and asked Janet Rivera if my medication could be adjusted or if she had any suggestions to help me. She showed no empathy whatsoever and told me there was nothing she could do. That wasn’t the first time she had completely dismissed me, so I decided to end our professional relationship and told her I’d be finding someone new.When I reached out to Michael O’Toole to inform him, he attempted to gaslight me. He claimed that I was actually being dismissed from their practice for “noncompliance.” To make matters worse, they suggested I should enter an Intensive Outpatient Program! I was completely shocked—it felt like a slap in the face, and honestly, it still haunts me!Thankfully, I’ve since found an incredible doctor who listens, cares, and actually helps. But I will never forget how I was treated by O’Toole and Rivera. STAY AWAY!

I went through a traumatic event that exasperated the symptoms of my diagnosis. Mr. O'toole could careless. I suffering with my mental health. I expressed need in adjusting my medicine to help me at least function. He refused and started pushing what I would consider junk science. During our last meeting he became very confrontational that I was questioning him. I broke it off. He then sent an email basically saying 'You u can't fire me. I quit!' I found a new doctor (a woman) who took a broader look at my symptoms and adjusted my medicine. I am doing a thousand times better and can actually function and feel stable. It makes me mad I was made to suffer because of a man's ego

I was sent to this APRN after going to a program in Bridgeport for a while. Everything seemed like it started out okay but then one day it changed in an instant. I was going through a big crisis in my life and I called my regular medical doctor for prescription to help with anxiety. The medicine did help. On the next visit with my APRN I told him what my doctor had given me and it was like he totally flipped. It was like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. He told me if I was going to take that medication every day that he would not see me anymore or treat me. I told him it was working. He didn't want to hear it. I told him I was going through a serious crisis in my life he didn't want to hear that either. I was going through a rough time cuz of a relative being sick and I wanted to talk to him about it and he didn't want to hear that either. He said our relationship is over goodbye and he hung up on me. I felt like I was cast aside for nothing.If you're recommended this doctor just be careful.
