Staggeringly Expensive!! This is the letter we wrote him: My husband and I have been having our eyes checked for years. Both for glasses and contact lenses. When I recently had my exam at your office, as we have just moved to Bend, I was staggered at the prices you charged for the exam---- $539, including refraction ($50). !!!!! I have never paid more than $50 to $100 anywhere I have ever lived. We will be contacting our insurance company, and every social media site we can to publicly call out your unbelievably high charges. You are outrageous. Not to mention we, of course, were not told of your pricing prior to the exam. You should be ashamed of yourself.
