Dr. Michael Floridia, OD

Dr. Floridia was professional, thorough and took the time to listen to and answer all my questions. He put my mind at ease. He truly cares about his patients.

Unfortunately my former Dr came to retire. Happy for him. I pursued three Doctors before going to Dr Floridia. I had expressed to a friend how dissatisfied I was with the others. They just did not give a thorough exam. I have visited two out of the three office available to patients. I have experienced nothing but great thorough exams and service from a scratched eye, and willingness to fit me in when that happened. Glad I had the choice of other office to visit because of injury. I also live the convenience of the office for regular yearly examination. I couldn't ask for a better, informative,caring eye doctor. I feel like I've been lucky to replace my former retired eye Dr. Thank you for my comfort and piece of mind and great service by staff and Dr.

Years ago my husband and I visited because of a trusted and local Carver business owner's past history with this MD. We used my husbands insurance though his work and was a state employee's plan. I also was gainfully employed and had insurance as well. But The treatment that we received was shocking. The Dr kept saying the treatment we needed was something we could not afford. It became apparent that he thought we were welfare people and not worthy of his care. I picked up my glasses from the local Md and was not even fitted. Went I called to have my glasses corrected. I was told that I would not wear them anyway and he would just take them away from me! I should have reported his the the medical board, but I was so shocked I was without words!

I have had Dr. Floridia as an eye doctor since my late teens and I have nothing but good things to say. I recommend him to everyone and am thankful for his caring for my visual needs all these years!! The best.
