Miadette Pheng-Phal, NPC

I began seeing NP Pheng-Phal since last year. I was very transparent in our appointments, especially in the beginning, when it came to my anxiety when working with doctors and overall health anxiety as I had not gone to a new PCP in years due to this. In every appointment, her and medical assistants explained thoroughly what our appointment would look like and any tests that would have to be done. At the end of appointments, she would run through a recap and next steps. I really wish to emphasis how incredibly helpful it is to have a medical provider really take the time to inform patients like her. Mia is incredibly patient, insightful, and takes the time to listen to concerns. I also adore how welcoming she is and our chats about books! I might have to leave the practice due to a new health insurance but I am so grateful I got to have her in my medical care team! She really helped soothe a lot of anxiety and provided really helpful medical care during a few health scares last winter.
