Assured me that I didn't need a doctor in the delivery room with me, that this is what she does all day After I delivered my son she said I only had a second degree tear. Then the doctor comes in to stitch me up and informs me it's a FOURTH degree tear and a torn labia. 4 years later I'm still suffering and I have permanent nerve damage to my bladder. I consulted some lawyers but was told it would be a losing battle since all of things that happened are known risks of childbirth.
