I worked with Merrie Asher for just a short time, but I liked that she advised me to learn my son's video games and it helped me connect with him.

Merrie is a great listener with good insight. I've seen her and so has my daughter and husband. I highly recommend her.

It took months just to get appointments set up. At our initial meeting, she refused to look at any outside or background material to get an understanding of our situation. I was dumbfounded. She spent two hours with me to understand our position and experiences (I had to request the second hour). She spent an hour with our son’s father. And two hours with our son. I am still confused how that would qualify her to make a professional assessment of our situation. She sent out a report that had approximately three pages of non-template material. We were charged $3000 for that. Merrie defined what it's like to have someone who shows so little care or concern or effort and yet can weigh in on a custody case. It was an insult to our process and to her profession. And she is trusted to sway custody cases. What a disgrace. Choose anyone else if you can!

She has been an amazing counselor for me and my family. I have been to many therapists in the area, and no one compares to Merrie. Superb services.

Merrie is absolutely amazing. She's warm and thoughtful always. Her experience is robust but she communicates it to you in a relatable way. I 100% agree that she knows exactly when to just listen and when to push ones thinking.
