Melissa Tishk, INTERN

Have been a client of Rabbi Melissa for several years. Was referred by a Jewish agency. She spends whatever time is necessary. Never looks at a clock. Always makes eye contact, not typing in a computer while you talk. She does her notes after the session-so she is always attentive. I have had several crisis over the year and have had to reach her after hours or on weekends. She gives her clients access to her phone to reach her at any time. Don't know of any other providers that do that. She has talked me through several crisis of family-so have not had to call 911.A great person, a good heart.

The amount of time. Undivided attention. Detail oriented. Eye to Eye Contact. Very considerate

Melissa enjoys too much self disclosure, complains about her previous clients to me in my first session. Did not turn off phone notifications and was consistently distracted. When I attempted to take control and directly ask our plan, she merely said she would like to get to know me better. Ma’am this isn’t a Starbucks. This is your communities mental health and you seem to lack a passion for both your clients and education.
