Dr. Melissa Tabin, PHD

In 2020 we were referred to Dr Tabin & let me tell you, this was the best decision we ever made to visit her. She has incredible bedside manner. She made my child very comfortable and she is an amazing advocate! Until this day she keeps up with us to see how my child doing! Thank you Dr Tabin! We love you!

We went to Dr. Tabin for help with our out of control son…she quickly recognized that many issues we were having with his behavior stemmed from conflict between my husband and I which itself stemmed from my own childhood trauma and spilled over into our parenting. Our child psychologist essentially acted as a couples counselor and individual counselor for me, the mother, for several months as we worked through that aspect of our troubles. She really saved us at what was a critical juncture. Gave us the knowledge, strength and tools to make big changes in our household and now continues to help us with our evolving needs a year and a half later. She has advocated for our son with his school. She has formed an amazing therapeutic relationship with him. She is always on her game. Always full of ideas to help us. We will probably continue seeing her for the rest of our son’s school age years. We are so incredibly thankful for Dr. Tabin.

My children have taken WISC/WIPPSI tests with Dr. Tabin multiple times and every time it was a great experience. Dr. Tabin knows how to make kids and parents feel comfortable and how to make kids enjoy taking the test. Dr. Melissa Tabin is the highest level professional with a great personality, and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Tabin evaluated my child for a WIPPSI test. This was one of the worst expirience both for me and my child. She literally made zero eye contact with us, as well as with the child. Why would you agree to be a tester for young children, if you appear to despise both the children and the parents. She was unprofessional to the highest possible level.
