Librarian, yes. Therapist, no.
The only good that came out of seeing her was feeling empowered by quitting her after a month or so. She set her own agenda for session 3 before I even had a chance to sit down -- before asking what I, the client, might want to address that day, or how I was feeling. Sessions featured her sharing unrelatable stories from her own circle of wealthy friends. She offered product advice and unsolicited book recommendations rather than actual therapy. If you want a reference librarian, she's your person. If you want a psychologist, look elsewhere.
