McKenzie Battershell, APRN

McKenzie Battershell and her staff have been my PCP for the last 2 years. While my visits have only been routine checkups with blood work and screenings, each have been absolutely professional and rather speedy. All concerns regarding medications always clearly answered, and all prescriptions handled within 24 hours.

The visits with Battershell were ok, but I sent a request for a prescription refill 7 days in advance of running out of medication and they did not respond then the pharmacy reached out to them twice and again they did not respond so I called and spoke with the office manager and she said she would tell Nurse Battershell after 2 days the pharmacy again called me to advise they had not received the prescription so I called Nurse Battershell and again spoke with the office manager and she told her I was out of medication and if she could tell me when the prescription would be sent and she stated that it may take a week, I then asked her if I reached out to SSM Corporate if they would be able to assist and she stated I could call if I wanted to but that there was nothing they could do, so I called SSM Human Resources and explained the situation and within 5 minutes I received a call from the office manager advising me that the prescription was now sent. No patient should have to undergo such an inconvenience or have their health put at risk because someone in the medical field does not want to fulfill such a request.
