Maureen Horohoe, PA

Maureen is a fantastic PA who has treated my osteoporosis and the osteoporosis of many of my fellow peers/friends and family. She gives great advice and is extremely knowledgable about the most current and effective treatments for treating my osteoporosis. I always leave each appointment feeling like I gained knowledge and comfort from her. My bone density has steadily increased since being under her watch. Do not listen to the 1-star reviews, there are many people around western NY who are extremely grateful to have Maureen take care of them!!

I thought that Maureen was very knowledgeable and informative. She was very thorough in explaining what she thought was best for my medical situation. I felt very comfortable with what she was suggesting and I would definitely refer her to anyone.

Maureen Horohoe seems to have learned a script regarding women's osteoporosis. She sticks to that script which provides the BASIC information about the disease and then straight to the medicines that she recommends to treat it. There is no room for discussion. When approached with ideas of my own, such as hormone therapy, she completely dismissed the topic, rolled her eyes and said, 'No comment.' Either she doesn't have the knowledge to provide more information or she just doesn't care. My overall impression of her was that she wasted my time and didn't provide me with anything I couldn't have looked up on the internet. If I could rate her a zero, i would. 'April 14, 2023

I had to have a dexa scan and a lab for this appointment. This provider spent 5 minutes with me that consisted of her telling me she reviewed my results and touching my spine so lightly she could not have felt anything beyond my clothing. She did not discuss my results with me and told me to come back in 2 years. I will not see her again as I feel no treatment is better than an appointment with her. She did NOTHING for me and the staff protects her from my complaints. I would give her a zero if offered that option.
