Maura Spiller, CCC-SLP

We loved working with Maura! She is patient, very professional and passionate about her work. She is empathetic and understands how complex it sometimes is the journey of feeding. She helped us get through a difficult hump while feeding our 2 year old, and now she loves to eat!

Maura has been helping my daughter and we absolutely love her! She takes the time to explain to me, in detail, what’s going on and what we can do at home; she answers all of my questions; she is timely in her response; and most importantly she is so good with my daughter. Baby girl loves her and it makes therapy so much easier working with a therapist like Maura!

Maura has been meeting with our child for 2 years. When she walks into the room, his face lights up! She makes the hard work of therapy seem like play. When he gets distracted/exhausted, she does a great job redirecting him. As parents, we feel equipped with a home therapy so that we can continue developing the skills he is learning each session. She has also been an encouragement to me as I navigated not only being a new mom but also a parent of a kid who needs a little extra help. Thankful!

She was kinda cold. She was professional but I did not feel comfortable with her asking to take a picture of my child's vitamin bottle for Children's medication reconciliation review log for with a device that looked like a personal cell phone. As far as I know...It probably was her cell phone. She also used a cell phone to take pictures of my insurance card. It doesn't seem HIPAA compliant. RUN!
