Bad bedside manner
I have gotten surgery through OrthoNebraska and had a good experience last year. I began experiencing pain and an inability to walk so I scheduled another appointment. Dr. Burt has two PAs and Matt was the only one with a same-week appointment. He has been horrible. First of all, he had clearly not even glanced at my chart before the appointment. I had to spend a good 15 minutes explaining my history. I have had 3 hip surgeries and he minimized my experience and pain. He seemed annoyed when I asked questions. What really made me mad was that I had to really push to get an MRI done (the last surgery they found a tumor to be the cause of my pain). When he called me with the results he told me there was fluid in the joint and inflammation. But when I opened the report myself, there was SO MUCH more included in the report, including what could be tumors that he didn't bother to mention. When I asked about pain management I was dismissed but I need to review this as I have kidney disease.
