Dr. Burkett saved my mother's life. When a small mass was found during an incidental find, Dr. Burkett aggressively monitored the mass and ordered the appropriate interventions, even when other medical providers dismissed the mass and questioned the biopsy and eventual surgery. Turns out, she DID have cancer, and had Dr. Burkett not acted when and how he did, the cancer would never have been identified and treated in a timely manner. Matt is not just a very skilled diagnostician and provider, he is patient-centered and highly responsive in women's healthcare, in particular. With Matt, it's a conversation about your health and a partnership in how to move forward in the best way for your health and quality of life. Matt really listens to his patients and cares tremendously about them as people, as individuals. Our entire family, especially my mom's grandchildren, will be forever grateful to him for the wonderful care he has provided over the years!

My wife made me go to the doctor. Really, she made me. I'm glad she did because if I didn't go I might have had thyroid cancer. Matt felt my neck and just by feeling my neck, felt the lump, ordered tests, and thank God it wasn't cancer. But it did alert me to changes I needed to make in my lifestyle to become healthier or I was going to die. Matt was supportive and helpful with my journey and I couldn't have done it without him.

Dr Burkett is a fantastic caring Dr. who takes the time to listen to all your concerns and is very knowledgeable on what to do with whatever needs to be done to get the best results.l do not get stressed when l need to go he makes you feel comfortable. The staff is also very nice . He is a fantastic PCP .
