My first two sessions went fairly well. My third session, she completely forgot and canceled it spur of the moment. She rescheduled me for later that week, however my schedule conflicted because I already had my schedule in advance for the week. I missed the appointment although, I arrived 30 minutes late, she advised me that for safety reasons they will not take patients after a certain time after the scheduled appointment. That is understandable. I never heard back from her after that and she never offered to reschedule me. That is poor client care especially for a client that you are fully aware is grieving. I don't recommend. Also, she acted like she really didn't want to counsel me and or didn't have the time and should have simply communicated that. Many counselors seems to want people to just talk the whole session and they get paid. She didn't seem to understand EAP either.
