I would not recommend Mary Blackmer. She has on more than one occasion made inappropriate comments about my kids. After she rung a bell next to my sons head and stated he had pddnos (pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified) we have not been back to her. My son has many disorders, pddnos is not one of them. She has also pretended to make an appointment for him. After calling back every week for 3 months she admitted she hadn’t made the referral, that it wasn’t necessary.

Made some very unsettling remarks about our parenting style and recommended practices that even google said were unhealthy and inappropriate. We complained to the office and switched pediatrician's offices immediately. They said that they have had other such complaints. If you feel that children should be seen and not heard, and other archaic child-rearing methods, you'll get along great with this lady.
