Dr. Martin Morris, OD

So informative, to the point and approachable! Really great visit!

Even though I have another health insurance company and have never seen Dr. Morris before, he welcomed me and took time to check out everything that could be affecting my vision. I told my husband about my good experience and said he should go to Dr.. Morris.

Very personable and had time for any questions. He repeated health information which was helpful in retaining it.

The employees from first entering the lobby to seeing the assistant and then Dr. Morris were efficient, curtious and left me feeling very comfortable. Dr. Morris reviewed the last eye exam and checked to see if things were the same or worse. Explained everything clearly and made me feel he was glad to see me and it was very important to get my eye glass prescription correct to work for me and said if I was not satisfied to contact him. I have great confidence in him and his decisions. I have had him for years and have great trust in his review of what I need.

Wow, my experience with Dr. Morris and staff was exemplary. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful. Cheryl, his assistant was very thorough. Dr. Morris did not seem rushed. Dr. Morris has been my eye doctor for several years. He has always been very professional and answered all my questions. The companies procedures have changed over the years with more of the information and preliminaries done by assistants, which means less time with the doctor. It's understandable with insurance billing why this is done in this manner. Still he has never rushed my husband or I and been upbeat and kind.

When Dr. Morris came in he seemed somewhat rushed. When I said something I would like his demeanor changed. He became rude, arrogant and raised his voice. No one needs a full grown doctor throwing a tantrum because their patient said they would like something. Even if they disagree there is a better way to go about it. He then threatened not to give me contacts. Which is what I made the appointment for. He should not be working with the public.

I had to wait for over a half hour with my first visit to Dr. Morris. Upon entering the exam room, he seemed rushed and somewhat arrogant. He prescribed some eye drops thinking it w might help and suggested a follow-up appt. The wrong location was checked on my follow up appt card, so even though I showed up early, they tried to reschedule me.They should have offered to call the other location to tell them I would be a few minutes late and to hold my appt. Dr. Morris again seemed rushed & was quite abrupt in the way he conversed with me. He also seemed offended when I asked clarifying questions. His final words were, that if he didn't find anything during the dilation with yet another appointment, that he would refer me to another ophthalmologist and walked out. Dr. Morris may be totally competent, however his customer service is more than poor. The entire clinic feels like a big machine, with no compassion for their patients. They have lost my business as a result.
