Stay away
Briana in the review explained my experience to a T. She was not helpful at all and I felt so much more torn down from what I started. She had the audacity to say in my after cost I was angry. No I shut down and told you I had no connection with you and felt I had nothing else to say.

Disappointed
Martha Hand was very concerned with me asking my doctor to refer me to a psychiatrist. I had requested the referral from my doctor not my doctor requesting one for me, just as a last resort, even though my doctor had mentioned it would be difficult to see someone with his referral. She took most of the office visit to lecture & explain to me that I would need to go to her because it would not go anywhere despite my visit being about an ADHD evaluation. It was difficult to turn the conversation back to the ADHD evaluation. I felt the meeting was more focused on her ego unfortunately instead of the main reason why the visit was made in the first place. The way she delivers personal Information is very blunt & honestly downright rude. She tends to have this habit of belittling your experiences which Im not sure Is her intention but should be put in check. She shows emotions of judging/laughing momentarily before which makes it difficult to have honest & open conversations & is in bad taste

Martha Hand was immensely helpful to me when I was in a very dark place, and she helped me learn how to cope with my depression and anxiety. I saw her regularly for a long time. I was very sad when my insurance changed. She was very invested in providing the absolute best counseling, and she was tremendously kind and helpful to me. She made sure I was taken care of after my insurance changed. In my opinion, you couldn't ask for a better therapist.

Stay far away from this person as there is a good chance she will make your condition worse. She is cold and uninspiring and doesn't seem to know what she's doing. i question how this person got her license in the first place, and how she is still practicing currently. Presbyterian must be hard up or clueless as to what's really going on here.

I would not recommend this person to anybody. She is unprofessional, and takes things personally. In 6 months that I saw her, she never helped at all. She left me without a behavioral health provider, and did not notify me. I found out on my own. Did not help my PTSD or anxiety at all, if anything her actions made my situation worse. Terrible.
