Comforting provider with IUD insertion
I was very anxious before my IUD insertion and she provided great education and support through the procedure. I had minimal pain and cramping but she completed the insertion very quickly. I have heard horror stories but had a completely different experience!

Marsha Merry has been my provider for several years, and I have known her for over a decade as a fellow pelvic health practitioner. I am a pelvic health physical therapist, and the owner of N2 Physical Therapy, and am also so grateful to have Marsha available as a resource for my own patients. She is excellent with performing thorough annual examinations, has incredible bedside manner, is practical in her approach toward well rounded health care, and has been the life changing factor in helping me find what I needed to manage many years of challenging PCOS symptoms. She has always provided me, and my patients, compassionate care, and is up to date on everything available when changes are needed. I would not only highly recommend her, but also the outstanding team of physicians she works with. To me, this practice is one of the best I have encountered.

She’s been my gynecologist for 8 years and does not remember me- which is surprising as I am survivor of a rare cancer, so I tend to stand out. She did not ask any questions ( like if I was sexually active) or give me any warning before starting the manual exam. She did something extremely painful that left me bleeding and didn’t say anything about it. She continually assumed things about me: that I was sexually active, that I wanted kids, that I don’t work out (I am considered at the high end of a healthy weight). She told me she did not “believe in” pelvic congestion- a condition that two MDs had diagnosed me with. Looking back at past visit notes, I realized that she never remembered me or listened very well- e.g., she noted that I had irregular periods and no abdominal pain despite the fact that I was there BECAUSE I have chronic abdominal pain and do not have periods b/c I was on OCPs that SHE prescribed me the year before. I’m very disappointed and am seeking a new gynecologist.

Marsha is excellent. She is very knowledgeable and always up to date with current medical literature. I trust her judgment. I never feel rushed, she is always friendly. I never dread my GYN appointments. Diane, in the office, is also very kind. Thank you. Pat
