Mark McOmber, LCSW

Mark David McOmber, LCSW was my first therapist I saw in Clovis, CA. I met with him once a week and then it went every two weeks. I shared my concerns as a parent, wife and as a human being. I asked for advice and guidance. He seemed to be genuinely nice but when I was unable to attend my therapy on Tuesday, February 1st, he ignored my calls and voicemails. I did leave 3 messages (Once a week), to give me a call back to reschedule. Due to my ill child on 2/1/2022, I couldn't show up on our appointment, I even told him that. I wasn't mean on his voicemail, I was professional about it. Not once did he have his receptionist call me or himself. I am more upset and uneasy that I shared a lot with him and now I am bothered that I am being treated differently. The negative thing about Mark David McOmber, is that he deals with people's lives and assists them to become better and stronger, to have self confidence but then ghost you.

Amazing counselor. He has a very unique common sense approach that is very enlightening and helpful. Very highly recommend.

He’s amazing! I’ve seen several therapists but he is by far the most caring and knowledgeable! I’ve referred lots of friends and family.

Be careful as a female patient with him. He’s got issues of getting attached to female clients. I know many others with the same experiences.

Felt like counseling is just a job for that gets him paid well, did not seem to have genuine care towards patients
