Marilee Boe, MA

I believe you have to connect with someone for therapy to work. From the beginning, I felt she understood me and I was able to develop trust which was no small feat for either of us. She gave me hope that I was a good person for who I was. I was able to open up and talk with her- which I'm very grateful for. While working with her, I became stronger in my marriage, at work, and in life.

I worked with Marilee during a dark time in our family- my daughter had left home for months, making poor choices, and had gotten herself into dire circumstances. My anxiety was through the roof, our other children were a mess, and our whole family was feeling the gravity of the situation. Marilee helped me see things from a different perspective- one day she said something that clicked in my head. My anxiety decreased, I approached the situation differently, & I started functioning better.
