Mariel Cairo, APRN

In September, 2024, just three months ago, I became a new patient at Millenium Physicians Group, Cape Coral, and I saw Mariel Cairo. I am on a daily dose of levothyroxine for hypothyroid and have been on this medication for many years. I had lab work done and there were no changes to warrant a change in dose and I was prescribed my medication. I was given a 90 day supply and when I went to try to get a refill, my request was denied. I reached out to Mariel Cairo on patient portal. I received a response that I have to come in if I want my refill. I have historically been tested every 6 - 12 months and been given refills between labs, prior to coming to this office. This clinic is extorting money from patients and it should not be allowed to continue!
