My long time psychiatrist rapidly left the clinic I was at, and I was on a long wait list to see Marie. It wasn’t until I emphasized I was experiencing suicidal ideation that Marie worked me in. Marie saw me one single time and rapidly took me off several meds. That sent me spiraling down even more than I currently was. She is judgmental, doesn’t listen to your concerns, and doesn’t try to get to know her patients. I have moved onto a new practitioner and would never recommend Marie.

I really liked her at first and felt she was very nice. After awhile of trying different meds she gave me and trusting that they wouldn’t hurt me like she said they wouldn’t.. they hurt me. I told her early on I was concerned with heart issues but she insisted they were safe, I developed worsening symptoms of my already present heart issues. After stopping the meds (my decision btw, she wanted me to take a similar med that had the same side effects) cardiology confirmed the med I was on was not safe for my heart even though she told me it wouldn’t effect my heart. I wasn’t listened to and was basically told my mental health disorder was making up these things I was experiencing. Not safe. Now I’m stuck with worse heart issues and a heart medication.

She is really kind and listens really well. Asks for your opinions on medications and goes through different options. I found her to be very friendly, open and willing to work with you.

Horrible, I felt very judged. I did not feel safe with her. I did not feel like she was listening to what I was saying. I repeatedly corrected her, “no that’s not what I said”. She told me she didn’t think I had the diagnosis’s that I had been being treated for with a different practitioner. She changed all my meds and when I became anxious and had bad thoughts, I called the office multiple times and finally got a call back after the 4th one. Do not go to her! It’s taken months to get back to where I was prior to seeing her. I’ve had to see multiple therapists to find one I feel safe with. The office staff was nice, that’s the only good thing I have to say about her.
