This entire clinic is a waste of time. Front desk dresses sloppy. nobody smiles, you cancel an appointment and it wasnt done. you make an appointment they done have it on record. Nobody has a clue what is going on

Used to have her as a doctor. Never been on birth control and came into start since I got my first bf and I wanted to be safe. Asked if I was pregnant, the usual stuff. I said no, I havent done anything hence why I'm trying to get BC. I took the pregnancy test and when she was walking back with the results I heard through the walls telling the nurse she was surprised it was negative, and that I will be surprised too. Are you absolutely kidding me? There's already so many issues with doctors not believing female patients you'd think a woman would not tear another down like that. I was so nervous to come in there and even ask and for her to imply that I was lying was horrible.

I saw Marianne H. Tortora for a recurring herpes zoster (shingles), which I have had around my eye, she prescribed 200 mg of acyclovir 5 times a day for 14 days. The standard practice for herpes zoster is 800 mg 5 times a day for 7 to 14 days. I felt she wrote this prescription like this out of belligerence because I too am in the medical profession and I am a female. I would not recommend her ever.

I saw Mariane Tortora at East Valley Medical in Chandler and was treated with kindness and respect, even as her last patient on a busy day! She took the time to hear my concerns and went out of her way to get me the medicine and follow up treatment I needed!
