I have been seeing Marianne now for over three years. I have found her to be a very good listener, never rushed, eager to answer any questions I’ve ever had I would recommend her to anybody.

Terrible provider.
She's rude, uncaring and cold. She never even introduced herself.. Just plopped down in her seat and looked at her computer. Without a hello!! I went for a physical and the only time she touched my body was to listen to.my heart. I had asked for a pap smear plus a breast exam as well. All she said is: I don't do those! I asked her: isn't this supposed to be preventative medicine? No answer . Then she escorts me to get blood work. That's it!! I didn't get a physical. I got basically nothing from her. Never again!! Run! Don't go to her!

My 79 year old mother is a patient of hers and recently saw her in the Village Medical (previously Morrow Family) office. A CBC was done and my mother received ZERO follow up on the concerns in her bloodwork results. It says a lot when you have to call the office to prompt them to send the bloodwork to my mother’s 2 specialists!! Unreal. I was so alarmed, I faxed the results myself to one office and set up an appointment with the other specialist. In the meantime, my mother received no phone call, nothing. I’d steer clear of this office. So many doctors are just all about business, not healthCARE.

Terribly Condescending and does NOT listen
I have been going to Morrow Family Medicine for years. I have always been pleased with all of the providers there, until I was seen by Marianne. She has ZERO bedside manner, I don't need you to be warm and fuzzy, but I do expect you not to be condescending when I am discussing my symptoms. She went as far as to question why my main physician Dr. Kindregan, would have given me a ferritin test on my last visit, and stated that was a bizarre test to have done randomly. Only to find out later that I have a genetic chromosomal issue called Hemochromotosis. So next time you think you know better than everyone else, please just do the due diligence to help and show some empathy. My experience with her was so negative that I literally will go to the minute clinic before going to my main doctor for a sick visit if she is the only provider available.

I had the worst visit today with this provider. It was my first and last appt. I was trying to get established with a new Primary Provider. She didn't listen, stated "I don't know what you're talking about" and after trying to explain my current symptoms and past treatments with an allergist (who unfortunately is no longer in my network) basically told me it didn't make sense and indicated that how I was managing this is the reason why I have symptoms again. I then asked her for a dermatology referral/reference and she stated - "well what if they are not covered by your insurance did you want me to keep giving you names?" I told her I was asking because typically PC providers have their specialists they typically refer to, this the point she said she didn't know what I was talking about. She had me hesitating in my words and thoughts. She is rude and I guess I wasted her time. She did give me an order for a test for another family history condition - I will not use it, no thanks.

I've seen Mariann Simpson multiple times. Always engaging in conversation and pleasant 'bedside manner'. I've never had a bad diagnosis from her. No complaints!

Horrible bed side manner, inaccurate diagnosis and provided information that contradicted current treatment guidelines. Would not recommend this PA to my worst enemy. It was a painful experience having to listen to her and I was thankful that our conversation lasted less than 5 minutes! I recommend That she schedule some continued medical education courses before she provides inaccurate information to patients!

I’ve always felt like this place is a bit of a chop shop with the amount of turnover in staff, but when you need to see someone fast, they are available. There may be better providers, but after the terrible visits I’ve had with this impersonal, curt and crass pa, never again. I’ve completely wasted my time. There’s no explanation as to condition, meds being prescribed, side effects, nothing. Can’t really even have a conversation about concerns. It’s, here’s the diagnosis, meds ordered, bye.

Ms. Simpson is by far the best healthcare provider I have ever had. She has always been kind, professional, and goes above and beyond her duties! She has taken care of my entire family, and all of us love her!

Would not even recommend my worst enemy to see Mariann. I had a very uncomfortable visit with her regarding a 'female' issue. She's was rude, short with me, and made my visit way more awkward than it needed to be. I have requested to never be scheduled with her again. I work in healthcare myself and understand that some days are more frustrating and tiring than others, but you never take it out on the patient.
