My first visit with her I left feeling so happy, I told my daughter how she took the time to talk and answer questions and seemed caring, something you don't see in doctors these days. My second visit I left disheartened. She basically came in told me she had my lab and I am in stage 3 kidney failure, mentioned a few allergies and that she will be referring me to a nephrologist specialist. She was so rushed and short in her reply. This was an alarming result for me, I know nothing about it and had questions. I was scared, still am cuss I am and have been feeling so bad. I walked out of that visit very disappointed to say the least. She could of asked me if I had questions and not been so rushed with my appointment. Does she make any changes to my blood pressure medication? Could she have prescribed something for the nausea or recommended me to a nutritionist to see what changes I should make. What does having this mean? I had questions. I'm sure my facial expression was showing my concern or how scared I felt in the moment. But she didn't care, didn't bother. I thought I'd found a doctor that works with her heart, actually caring. Unfortunately that was only on first visit.. Wasn't a visit even worth the co-payment. Had to call a cousin in Cuba who is a doctor to get some questions answered.
