Dr. Margarita Coca, OD

Dr Coca is extremely efficient and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her services.

I had an appointment with Dr. Coca, and she was awesome. Dr. Coca did a great job explaining and answering all my questions, and even recommend me some amazing eye drops for my allergies. I will definitely be coming back

CAUTION: STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR AND STAFF!!! Horrible, unprofessional staff, eg doctor! I had trouble scheduling and was treated so badly by the two Hispanic techs! The doctor initially gave me the wrong prescription when I asked her for even magnification. Upon calling back for flow up I had to wait ONE WEEK to see her wearing these contacts that have now caused an ulcer! I will be filing a report with the AZAGO for negligence and liability! With the new prescription, she refused to give me a trial sample to try for comfort.

I felt my exam with Dr Coca was WAY more thorough than the previous optometrist at Costco. I made an appt with her because I couldn't see with the prescription I received from the previous optometrist just 6 months prior. She got my prescription corrected, was very thorough (more so than the previous opt), answered all my questions - &, was just really nice in general, had a great demeanor & felt she genuinely cared about my eye health. I would highly recommend her & hope she stays with Costco.

I was going to leave my own comment on how great Dr. Coca was, when I saw the previous email. I was an optician for 15 years and I was certified in the dispension of contact lenses. An O.D. cannot give samples that connect to an outside RX. Because contact lenses are medical devices, the O.D. with the samples would have to perform her/his own exam to determine if the RX, material, and fit of the lens are correct. Dr. Coca took the appropriate action and denied samples without performing an exam.

We waited for an hour just to be told she is booked up for weeks. Poor customer communication and lack of customer consideration.

Went into her office today to book my first appointment & ask for contact samples while I wait for my prescription to come in stock. After being asked to wait to speak with the Dr. my husband and I waited 45 minutes to have the receptionist stand in front of me and say, “Um, yeah, the Dr. said no.” She did not speak with us after we waited for so long!! I have had Costco optometrist provide samples when they do not have the lens ordered in stock. She was the WORST Dr. we will NEVER USE her.
