Margaret Welch, CRNP

My visit with Margaret Welch was the worst mental heath appointment I ever had. She has no bedside manner and did not smile once upon entering the room. She did not sit down at all during the appointment and talk to me since it was a mental health appointment. It was an awful experience. She stood the whole time typed notes on a computer from my input and then said I needed to see a psychiatrist, and proceeded to tell me she had consulted with another doctor before hand and they agreed upon this. There was no dialogue about what was currently going on in my life as to why mental health was worse and no other treatment options presented. When I pushed back, she said it was her professional opinion and it seemed she made her mind up before I even walked in. Plus, she pointed out that most likely no doctors would treat me a the practice. She was cold the whole time and as I was crying and so upset by her words she just handed me a psychiatrist's referral and said goodbye. Awful just awful
