As a patient in one of our local hospitals, I was extremely ill and crying because of pain. Ms. Dowdy walked into my room and screamed, "WHY ARE YOU CRYING?" She was very unprofessional, extremely rude and spent approximately 1 minute with me. I subsequently received a bill in the amount of $3,180 as she was out of network even though the hospital was in network. I didn't ask to see her, I didn't want to see her, and most of all I didn't want to have her yell at me.
