My life has improved a whole lot since seeing Ms Bostwick. My self love has improved and my confidence to ask for what I need from others. I appreciate not feeling judged or ashamed. Ms Bostwick was patience with me as I moved through my therapy journey. I will continue to recommend this therapist struggling with relationship issues and poor confidence.

I would definitely not recommend Makeda Bostwick. Bostwick is very rude, completely unprofessional, uncaring and incompetent. If you are experiencing mental health problems that require mental health treatment or care, do not go to Bostwick as a counselor. Bostwick threatens serious irreversible harm to any potential patients. Please, you deserve better, stay away from Bostwick. Good luck!

I was struggling with anxiety throughout my life. i definitely decided to reach out to a therapist. I was recommended by a coworker to start therapy and see a previous therapist she thought highly of. I decided to just do it!! I'm so happy I did and this therapist was absolutely wonderful, present with me, and provided me a deeper insight into my internal programming that was contributing to my unhappiness! I am so happy i chose this therapist!!

I’m an autistic and emotional support teacher working with young children. My girlfriend has been working up the courage to see someone in her busy life. They scheduled a time where my girlfriend had to leave work early to get home just to make their first session. Less than 30 min. before the session, this counselor canceled. To make it worse, her email said something “important” came up. I understand that we all have personal lives, but I would never tell my students that I had to cancel because something important came up. Especially on a first session with that phrasing. I’m appalled and would hope a professional working with people who need help, perhaps coping or with their perceptional skills, would simply phrase it so that a person in need could possibly perceive it as they themselves are not important. It is your duty as the professional, just as it is mine in my hectic classroom, to support those who you offer help to with appropriate phrasing.
