Dr. Mahesh Gupta, PHD

Dr. Gupta is very insightful and caring...I came to him with very bad anxiety ,depression and a service of worthlessness. I have a fear of people and life situations... I had basically accepted that my life would always be this way...I was homeless and had not worked in quite a while. I thought everyone was taking about me or looking at me on judgement my phobia kept me from dealing with anyone outside of people I had been around for years. This man has helped me realize I'm worthy and that I can live a productive life and live in society as a peer to the oriole around me. In just 3 sessions in working with animals which I love and I'm making a living for myself. I'm gaining housing so that I'm not homeless. He's been so patient even accepted my emotional support dog in his office with no problem and made her feel comfortable in his presence. He's worked with me on appointments when I was late or has to reschedule for a different time... He's very easy to open up to / wantsu to suceed

Dr. Gupta possess many years of experience and possess highly tuned analytic skills . He is an attentive listener. Dr. Gupta probes patient issues and guides the patient to a resolution via his many years of therapeutic experience. He is highly recommended.

He is very wise and to the point

Dr. Gupta provides very great simple examples to explain complex emotions. He has helped me in just a few sessions improve. He was accommodating regarding my commute to his office. He was great listening and putting my problems in perspective, by explaining my emotions using great examples and scenarios.

I reached out to Dr. Gupta for help and he was very open to meeting with me on short notice. He listened to all of my concerns in a respectful manner and has been very patient.

I only saw the psychologist twice. I don’t understand how this man claims to be a psychologist. He is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I was going with my husband to see him but after my last session by myself he left me feeling degraded and humiliated. While in my session I was talking about my marital problems and he told me that I was nothing and in the case of a divorce I would have nobody and would be left alone. He was practically said that I couldn’t complain about my husband and I had to just deal with it. He proceeded to humiliate me because of my accent and told me to study on dictionary.com. He told me that no one would understand me or believe me because of my accent. His job was not to make fun of me and my accent, it was to help me with my marital problems. Which he did not do. So instead of helping me he left me feeling embarrassed and extremely upset. I wouldn’t recommend this psychologist to anyone at all.

Dr. Gupta has really helped myself and my family on the road to recovery from major life changes and I’m so appreciative. He goes above and beyond to accommodate his patients. He really took the time to understand my family dynamics so he could better understand a health-care plan for us and it made me feel like he really cared about my entire situation and not just putting labels on us that would have been easier for him to do. He takes the time to make sure he understands you and I sincerely feel he has a deep care for his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone going through depression or people who need family counseling. He completely stayed calm while I was having a mental crisis and even tried several approaches including drawing diagrams to help me understand things on a less personal level so I could be more objective and rational about my own situation. I would just like to thank him and recommend him to anyone who needs help.

Dr. Gupta has been instrumental in helping me work through my thoughts, as well as understanding my anxiety. With our sessions I have been able to gain insight on what path would best be followed at this time in my life.

Dr. Gupta has an interesting way of having me look at things in a much different perspective and I feel like he relates to whatever issues we discuss. He is helping me get through a tough time and I really appreciate it!

Highly Recommended! I had other therapist as a child and young adult that did not even compare to his standard of care. He is very intelligent and inspiring. He helped me through one of the most critical times in my life. He encouraged me to go to college and thanks to his gentle direction I have been able to accomplish my goals in life and feel very successful. He truly cares for the best intrest of his patients and helped me get my life on the right track. He was also able to help my daughter aswell. He is very good and well mannered with children and for all his help in our lives we are forever grateful. Highly recommended!
