Lyric improperly used EMDR to treat my intense trauma. She did not prepare me for this type of treatment and began using it way too soon, according to two other therapists I have spoke to about it. She would bring me into a place of intense trauma and end the session rather abruptly, leaving me in that trauma space. She also told me my boyfriend would not leave me - he did - and did not recognize that he was a narcissist or any other red flags around that relationship. She gave little guidance and did not control the sessions well, instead letting me spend $100 a session crying uncontrollably. She had an intensely detrimental affect on my mental health. I came to her in crisis after leaving a 5-year abusive relationship, and she contributed to my trauma instead of helping me work through it.

Lyric practices out of her field and believes it is ok to use a child for IPV. She lies in court and plays with a child's emotions leaving psychological damage for life.

Lyric is an exceptional listener. She provides a safe & judgement free space to really feel heard. Her insight and feedback have helped me, personally, on many levels .

Lyric is great! She has a wonderful balance of professionalism and relatability and I always feel safe trusting her with my hardest experiences. She knows a lot of ways to help me deal with life.

Highly skilled, especially in treating childhood trauma. Personable, warm, genuine. Very open to letting clients verbalize and process issues related to their faith and spirituality without judgment or an agenda to change client's religious beliefs. Highly recommend.
