Lynn Sims, MED

I became a patient of Lynn's almost 2 years ago, and since that very first visit, my life has significantly changed. I have struggled with codependency, low self-esteem, low self-worth, abandonment issues, etc. and I was met with the most kindest, most inspiring, most practical, and most motivating advice every single week. He has helped to give me the tools, the words, the strategies, and the patience, to live, cultivate, and maintain a life that I never knew that I could have. One where I never realized could be so fulfilling and beautiful. In every appointment Lynn creates a safe, trustworthy environment where I am heard, acknowledged, understood, and I always leave knowing that I have learned yet another valuable lesson to aide me in my daily life. His help in guiding me with my reconciliation with my partner, and frankly with all of my personal relationships in my life, is admirable, noteworthy, and heartfelt, and Lynn truly cares for each and every one of his patients.

Lynn has been tremendously helpful to me for nearly two years now.He's insightful, experienced and he cares.Lynn is a careful listener and more often than not sees things from an angle that I hadn't thought of. Knowing that he's there to talk things over with has been a source of peace for me. I am grateful for his help and I would recommend him very highly for anyone trying to get a handle on things and anyone trying to understand things that are difficult to understand.

If you need a therapist who can work with a family member who has serious issues THIS IS NOT the therapist for you. In the space of two emails, one from the family member with serious issues and the other from Mr. Lynn Sims ALL THE PROGRESS that had been accomplished in the past six months within my family was trashed completely. Mr. Sims seemed incapable of even trying to work through the mental ravings of a seriously ill person to understand that Mr. Sims' actions in response could be misconstrued and end up convincing said family member that Mr. Sims agreed that we were not a family. Additionally, I was repeatedly told to search for information on co-dependence and it was inferred that my situation was impossible and that it would be best to throw the family member with serious issues to the wolves. This is not why people seek therapy, to be thrown away or dismissed with preconceived notions by the therapist.

Lynn has helped our family survive several crises. We highly recommend him.

He was not interested in hearing all information before giving an opinion filled with his own emotion. We will not return.
