I told her I thought there was a possibility I had a disorder, never self-diagnosed, I just told her this to see if I did because I had every symptom, I was concerned. She sat there judging me and instantly said in an aggressive tone, “where did you hear that, social media?” I then told her I don’t do that and told her my reliable websites, and the whole time she was berating me about this. Then she finally was like “fine what symptoms you think you have,”at this point I didn’t even want to be there. Every time I would say my feelings and she would critique me like I wasn't telling the truth about how I felt. Even things like having anxiety, self-image issues, etc. Basically acted like I was lying? Would dismiss my feelings, they were invalid. It was so weird how judgmental, unwelcoming, negative, she was the whole time. I mean at least not be rude as soon as I walk in the door would be a start. She makes you feel less than zero, less than what number you walked in there with.

Felt that clinician was very judgmental and dismissive of how I was feeling. Had only been in session a couple times with her and felt worse afterwards. To the point I almost had a panic attack after the second session. Tried to downplay my feelings and perceptions, even though I know my perceptions are incorrect. Instead of asking questions about my relationships with others in my life, she criticized my interactions and how I perceived my feelings in moments of anxiety. Overall, felt that I was looked down on and judged for feeling the way I do.

Saw her a few years ago and she was very critical and judgmental. She was arrogant and made me feel less than! There are much better counselors out there!

I have had 4 visits with Lori. She is very helpful and positive. She listens and actually cares about your problems.

I have seen Lori 3x now. She has embarrassed me. Laughed at things I've said, admitted to me having an anxiety problem but has not bother to diagnose me. I honestly believe going to her made everything worse.
