Scheduled an appointment with this doctor to do a simple procedure, I’ve never had any issues prior to this with having the procedure performed. She urged for some unnecessary tests to be done prior to performing said procedure. Knowing that this testing was not covered under insurance, she refused to do this procedure without it & told me I could get a second opinion. So I did. I got a second opinion, & a third. Both other doctors told me that there is no reason to perform that specific testing & they were unsure of why it was requested. Either this doctor works on commission, or her employer is pushing that doctors request expensive testing as a cash grab. I’m sure she was just doing her job, but again— Second opinions show me that the appointment I attended & paid for was a waste of my time & money, she could have saved me the time.
