We loved her.
My daughter is now too old to be seen by Lisa and we miss her. She was not only kind and caring, she was great at diagnosing any other health issues. She was a rock for my daughter during some very hard times.

Lisa made my 11 year old daughter cry. Then she suggested that I send myT1d kid to play at other kids houses during a pandemic. Lisa said my kid needed blood work and carb ratio changes to her insulin pump then proceeded to not complete either task at the in office visit. I tried to explain to her that the pancreas not converting sugar into useable energy for use by the body is a physical impairment. Being as how my daughter would die without the insulin the major life limitation would be the act of living itself. She failed tp grasp this concept and attempted to down play my daughter's disability instead. She went so far as to say that every 11 year old kid needs 24 hour monitoring and then compared her kids "no life threating illnesses" to my daughter. Like medical monitoring is the same as supervising her kids at play.

My daughter was referred by her oncologist for testing. This NP told me she would call personally with the results of several labs drawn.. here we sit 3 weeks later with no results via mail or phone call from anyone. Very disappointed.. will be seeing an actual doctor who understands the importance of communication on your children.
